The Kromasil Chiral range includes two types of chiral stationary phases based on Kromasil premium silica.
AmyCoat and Cellucoat
Proprietary super-wide pore silica matrix, coated with a functionalized cellulose selector.
High resolution, excellent selectivity, high pressure stability and stable performance.
Cellucoat: tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl) carbamoyl cellulose
AmyCoat: tris-(3,5-dimethylphenyl) carbamoyl amylose.
Available in both Reverse phase and Normal phase modes.

Chiral TBB and DMB
Chiral network polymers covalently bonded to Kroamsil silica to be used with all solvents in HPLC, SFC and SMB/MCC.
Two phases have been developed to complement each other in selectivity:
Chiral DMB: The chiral monomer is O,O’-bis (3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N,N’-diallyl-L-tartar diamide.
Chiral TBB: The chiral monomer is O,O’-bis (4-tert-butylbenzoyl)-N,N’-diallyl-L-tartar diamide.
The chiral monomers are reacted with a multifunctional hydrosilane yielding a network polymer incorporating the bifunctional C2-symmetric chiral selector.

Kromasil chiral selectors are available in normal phase and reverse phase modes, and in several column and particle sizes, from analytical to prep-scale.
